Ashley thru the years

I don't have any digital photos of Ashley when she was younger, as we did not own a digital camera at the time. So I rounded up some pictures and scanned them in. Enjoy!

Amy made this Jester costume for Halloween (16 months) What a total cutie!

Sitting on the floor and going over the blueprints to our 1st home in Pleasant Grove, Utah.

The hat stayed on for 30 seconds which was just enough for the photo. She loved to pull anything off that you placed on her head.

Check out those marvelous marbles!! They have a great affect on her daddy when she wants something.

A beautiful Easter dress for a beautiful little girl. It was a lovely Spring day.

Bad hair day for school. I think she did a good job with the hair and has the face and attitude to go with it.Trying on mommy's swim cap and goggles. Notice the cruel subliminal message on the refrigerator.

Ice skating costume for Halloween.

Buried in the sand on the beach at Holland state park near our home in Michigan.

Attending a professional football game. Atlanta Falcons vs the San Fransisco 49ers.

Blue slushies make for blue lips and teeth. We are at a West Michigan Whitecaps triple A baseball game in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Rachel is doing her "Grandma Georgia" face. Ashley seems thrilled about something, and I just love the ruffled hair. Amy reminded me that the shirt Rachel is wearing we had to buy at the ballpark because she threw up in the car on the way to the game. Nice!

Riding on the Maid of the Mist at Niagara Falls, Canada

Dressing up and acting like Brigham Young for a school project.

Jill Kloosterman taught Ashley piano for 6 years. (and Thomas for 4 years)

Her first class photo with new glasses. She looks so smart.

A tender moment in the swing with baby Daniel.

Picking blueberries....yummy!

Blueberry pies for 2 birthdays in a row. Hmm....I see a pattern here. Must be her favorite.

Flying high on Auntie Leah's trampoline in Fresno, California.

The beginning. Putting on the braces that she will wear for the next 2 years.

Scary! Just gotta throw this one for humiliation purposes.

Flashing her new brilliant smile only minutes after removing the braces. I told her that I own her teeth and that she better take good care of them.

Do these glasses go with my eyes?

While she slept we put a hundred helium filled balloons on the ceiling in her room as a surprise for her 14th birthday. When she woke in the morning it was quite startling.Angelina Jolie 'aint got nothing on me! How 'bouta big sloppy kiss?
