November 2007

Ah yes, the goodie bag! The real reason why we play soccer.
The scrapbooker / soccer Mom, posing. I think she's got at least 3 chairs on her shoulder.
Baby Austin (almost 6 months old) lives across the street, but we love it when he comes over. Thomas will make a great father someday.
A bit dark but this is the post card shot of the San Antonio Riverwalk. It is all lit up for Christmas now. (not shown in this photo)
Great Mexican food and Mariachi band at the Riverwalk. Ah, what a sweet combo. Notice Sadie's big eyes!
The tour boat on the San Antonio Riverwalk. Notice all the smiles....um... except for Rachel.
At SeaWorld for Thanksgiving. A bit out of focus but we're all here, including Grandma Helen, Leah and Tiffany.
Danny and Sadie standing in the wake of the log ride at Sea World. Again, check the date...Nov 22nd. Something we couldn't have done in Michigan at this time of year. It was 85 and sunny this day. We sure had a blast riding the Steel eel and the Great White rollercoasters.
Feeding Flipper! Wonderful creatures.
We went to Sea World during Thanksgiving week. Cousin Tiffany is standing next to Sadie. Santa is feeding the fish in the background.
Rachel and Sadie get to run out of the tunnel and across the field with the high school football team before each home game. Sadie wears her red cowgirl boots so we can't miss her.
Smiles and ponies. Yes, this is her game face. She loves to play.
Bishop Parker wrestles with Executive Secretary Jorge Troncoso. I think I made him say 'uncle' after force feeding him some grass. Those military nurse types are real soft. Hard to believe I used to wear pads under that football jersey.
Oh boy! Looks like Danny and Thomas have died and gone to heaven....oh the sugar rush!
The pink soccer ball was a must. Rachel is pretty good at the game. She has good speed with marginal toughness but needs to develop more work ethic.
Shirtless Danny enjoyed pulling out all the seeds. Sadie and Thomas carved their own. It was a pretty fun family night.
The uni-brow pumpkin for Danny boy.
All dressed in yellow and black supporting the home team. East Central High School Hornets is our new alma mater. Sadie going for a goal. She has found a new passion and that's playing soccer. She's a real worker and can't seem to get enough of it. Ah yes! The goodie bag after the big game! Notice the red cheeks and sweaty hair stuck to her face.
Danny suckin' down the water the girls need for their soccer game. Notice the lush green soccer fields of Texas!Rachel took 2nd place at elementary school for silliest pumpkin. We used the stem as the nose and the pink wig helped a bunch.
Ashley self portrait after a shower. Do you think she'd look better with Angelina Jolie lips?

October 2007

Ashley is a Freshman in High School
this year. She is an East Central Hornet
and plays the Saxaphone in the Marching
Band. She now plays about 9 instruments
and is currently 1st chair in the highest
symphonic band of her high school. Quite an
honor for a freshman. She also plays the organ
for Sacrament meeting on Sunday in church.
We're super proud of her! What a talented hot-lookin' chica!

BYU Danny with action figures.

Crunch! My Beautiful 1969 Buick Skylark
(with only 57K original miles on it) was struck by an
Ford F250 construction truck while I was
waiting at a traffic light. Boo Hoo :(

Another view. The cars still runs and drives
just fine yet was still totaled by the insurance
due to the lack of parts for repair.

The cash I got from the insurance I bought
this little 2002 Hyundai. It's a 34mpg fun little
car. Perfect for our upcoming future
drivers.

Another view.

Thomas #9 tackles the ball carrier. He's a
pretty good little cornerback.

Thomas plays 7th grade football for the
Legacy Knights - Middle School

Rachel in one of her Saturday morning
soccer games. She's pretty good and pretty fast!
She scored 7 goals in one game. Sadie plays soccer
too and has also scored some goals. They both
work pretty hard and love to play the game.

Sadie turned 6 on Sept 4th. Amy makes the best cakes! it really makes the party :)

Pointing to Boris the Spider in our backyard. He was fed crickets on a daily basis.

Close-up of Boris. He (it) left a huge egg sack on the fence one day and then after a few weeks he left.

Rachel looking good with her new Barbie back pack, ready for 3rd grade.

Sadie in uniform. She attends a Baptist Christian school for 1st Grade. Ooh La La...Ponies, Princess backpack and uniform. I'm all ready for 1st grade.
